Strive Not to Drive

Transportation is about much more than cars on roads. It's about managing and promoting equal access to streets and greenways as a shared resource. It’s about having safe and sustainable mode options that include active transportation (bikes, walking, light mobility tools), transit, aging community transportation, carpooling, and vanpooling.

For an economy to work and for Western North Carolina to become more livable, business-friendly and resilient, Strive Beyond offers transportation representation across all modes, for all people.

Through Strive Month, every May, and year round through regional projects and working groups, Strive is working and thinking beyond the car, in Buncombe, Henderson, Haywood, Transylvania, and Madison counties.
